How it started

How it is going.

It all started when…

I was a young rural kid. I did not have much starting out but never went without as far as food, clothing, and shelter were concerned. However, something was missing—my voice. I always had ideas and different points of view, but I was fearful of speaking up while being discouraged. My peers were into some things they considered normal and “cool” (unproductive and toxic), but I wanted to learn and do more outside of the norm (comic books, exotic cars, and learning about other cultures). It did not help that I was also self-conscious about my weight during my childhood. To keep the peace, I played along. I suppressed my voice for decades and just prepped myself to transition from the good student to the good worker. This was the generic model of success I learned.

…That was not good enough for me, and my message is for those who feel the same and want to change. My first step was to express myself through fitness and physical action. Then I carried those methods into the other areas of my social life.

 
 

My training is designed to enhance overall mobility and quality of life with physical strength, body control, and cardiovascular endurance. In other words, I want you to get your “wind up” (ability to be active and sharp for more extended periods). These workouts are easy to understand but will take time to master. They will consist mostly of timed circuit routines, speed drills, and calisthenics (body-weight movements).
